Rantatie Quartet is a string quartet playing Classical and Romantic music using period instruments. The quartet is dedicated to bringing lesser-known music pieces forward, while not neglecting Mozart and Haydn.

The quartet received the Emma Award for Classical Music of the Year 2007 for their recording of Tulindberg’s string quartets. Rantatie Quartet has also recorded a lot of Finnish and Swedish music from the likes of Tulindberg, Greve, Mielck, Kraus and Crusell. The quartet’s concert series at Erkkola in Tuusula has drawn full houses since 2007.
