Kamarimuusikkona, konserttimestari-johtajana ja pedagogina toimimisen lisäksi Kreeta-Maria soittaa usein solistina niin orkestereiden ja yhtyeiden kanssa kuin omissa sooloviulukonserteissaan.

Hänen viulukonserttorepertuaariinsa kuuluu teoksia muun muassa Bachilta, Vivaldilta, Leclairilta, Romanilta, Tulindbergiltä, Ferlingiltä, Pichlilta, Mozartilta ja Haydnilta. Ferlingin ja Tulindbergin viulukonserttoja Kreeta-Marian esittämänä sisältävä Kuudennen kerroksen orkesterin (nyk. Suomalainen barokkiorkesteri) The Classical Age in Finland -levy valittiin vuonna 2001 Ylen Vuoden levyksi ja se sai samana vuonna myös ääni- ja kuvatallennetuottajien Janne-palkinnon.

Sooloviulukonserteissaan Kreeta-Maria esittää ohjelmistoa muun muassa Bachilta, Telemannilta, Romanilta, Vilsmayrilta, Biberiltä ja Westhoffilta. Tunnin mittaisessa Puro Perhonjokeen -soolo-ohjelmassaan Kreeta-Maria yhdistää Bachin d-molli- ja E-duuri -sooloviulupartitojen tansseja kaustislaiseen kansanmusiikkiin.

"Kun pistin Bachin ja Kaustisen tanssit seurustelemaan keskenään, alkoi molemmille tapahtua jotain. Kaustislainen musiikki on täynnä ihan samanlaisia tunnetiloja ja yllätyksellisiä harmonisia käänteitä kuin barokki konsanaan. On myös jännittävää havaita, että barokin svengi ja kansanmusiikin svengi alkavat pikkuhiljaa sulautua yhdeksi kokonaisuudeksi, joka nimenomaan kommunikoi keskenään, ilman sen kummempaa kategorisointia, mikä mihinkin kuuluu."

Kreeta-Marian Puro Perhonjokeen -konsertin ohjelmalle pohjautuva soololevy Side by Side – Bach partitas and folk music from Kaustinen julkaistiin huhtikuussa 2016. Levy valittiin vuonna 2016 Ylen Vuoden levyksi sekä yleisön suosikiksi ja sille myönnettiin vuoden 2016 parhaan klassisen albumin Emma-palkinto.

Lisäksi viime aikojen suosittu soolo-ohjelma on ollut "Barokin ja kansanmusiikin tanssahtelevat tyylit", jossa tanssisoiton lomassa Kreeta-Maria kertoo tarinoita pelimanniesi-isistään ja barokin ajan viulusäveltäjistä.

Kreeta-Maria works as a chamber musician, concertmaster-leader and a pedagogue, but in addition to these she also features as a soloist with different orchestras and ensembles and performs in her own solo violin concerts. Her violin concerto repertoire includes works from Bach, Vivaldi, Leclair, Roman, Tulindberg, Ferling, Pichl, Mozart and Haydn.

Kreeta-Maria's renditions of violin concertos by Ferling and Tulindberg were included on the album The Classical Age in Finland by Kuudennen kerroksen orkesteri (later known as Suomalainen barokkiorkesteri) that was chosen as the Album of the Year in 2001 by the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE. The album also received a Janne Award bestowed by the Finnish association of music producers (IFPI Finland) in the same year.

In her solo violin concerts, Kreeta-Maria performs works from Bach, Telemann, Roman, Vilsmayr, Biber, Westhoff and many others. In her hour-long Puro Perhonjokeen programme Kreeta-Maria combines the dances of Bach's D Minor and E Major solo violin partitas to folk music from Kaustinen.

"When I tried putting Bach in a dialogue with folk dances from Kaustinen, things started happening to both of them. Folk music from Kaustinen is full of the same types of affections and surprising harmonic twists as you find in Baroque music. It's also exciting to notice the swing of Baroque start to merge together with that of folk music, the two communicating perfectly together without the need for categorization of any kind."

Kreeta-Maria's solo album Side by Side – Bach partitas and folk music from Kaustinen, which is based on the Puro Perhonjokeen concert programme, was released in April 2016. In the year 2016 the album was chosen as the Album of the Year as well as the audience's favourite by the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE and it also received the Emma Award for the best classical album.

The most recent popular solo programme is called "The dancing styles of the Baroque and folk music" where Kreeta-Maria talks about her folk musician ancestors and the violin composers of the Baroque.
