Vivaldi: Concerto for strings and basso continuo, RV 114 (Ylivieska Church 6.1. 2014)

Barocco Boreale consists of members of Ostrobothnian Baroque musician families; Kentala, Virkkala, Pulakka, Pyrhönen, Holmqvist, Mansnerus, Kangas and Polso. The founding idea was to bring Baroque music concerts, played using original instruments, to the area these families all call home. Depending on the occasion, the ensemble transforms from a small band to an orchestra. Barocco Boreale mainly performs on the axis running along the Finnish western coast from Oulu to Vaasa.

Barocco Boreale’s debut album The Folk Seasons was released in December 2016.
